So much fun to watch douchebag Ben and the Steelers go down like that. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

I don't like the Chargers but at Steelers (who I hate more).
I really was surprised they blew that lead. I think they're a game ahead of the Ravens now. |

The Broncos won't make the playoffs but they will spoil so many chances for other teams that Vance will save his job. |

Just a half-game lead; PIT is 7-4-1 and BAL is 7-5. |

I feel like the Chargers playing what is essentially all away games for these 2 years is finally paying off. |

Good to see the Chargers winning. If any bunch of players deserves some success, it is them. |

Their schedule is so easy down the stretch that they have a real shot. They are 7-5. Next week they play at the 49ers, a team that is now in line for the #1 overall pick and a team that should be trying to lose. No, they don't need a QB, but the 49ers can auction off the pick to the highest bidder, which is quite a position to be in. In Week 15, they get to play Cleveland at home. No, that's not a gimme, but they should be favored by a few points there. In Week 16, they play at the Raiders, which is another game that they should win. And to close out the regular season, they get the Chargers at home. That's easily their toughest game left, but there's a chance that the Chargers could be locked into the #5 seed, and if so, you have to question just how hard they will play.
If they could run the table, it would force the Ravens to go 3-1, and they still play at KC next week and at the Chargers in Week 16. (They play the Bucs at home in Week 15 and finish with the Browns at home.) |

At the beginning of the season last year, LA was supposed to be the home of 2 bad NFL teams....looks like this year both teams this year will make the playoffs . |

Oh sorry, yeah, 6-6. They would have to run the table to finish 10-6. At that point, they would need the Ravens to lose 2 of 4, and possibly not have teams like the Colts, Dolphins, and Titans go 4-0. |

And both look like actual potential SB Contenders. Chargers not quite as much as the Rams obviously, but they'll be a very tough out. |

I wasn't entirely sold on KC before the Hunt explosion. At this point, I think the AFC is a wide open race, with every team that is 6-6 or better having a chance to make a run with four games to go. Yes, I could see a team like Tennessee or Miami coming out of nowhere and running the table. I don't think that there is a great team that would crush the minnows.
But I just assume that the Chargers will fold sooner or later. It's what they do. |

I grew up as a Cowboys fan, so it is hard for me to feel sorry for the Redskins. But damn, that's a lot of injuries. |

Wow! Another Skins QB broke his leg? What are the odds?

Curious AH. I see a lot of support for the Texans not so much for Dallas. Do you have a preference? We have 2 teams in Los Angeles, Rams and Chargers. I'm a Raider fan. Since their move to Vegas I'm really not pulling hard. I pull more for the Rams than I do the Chargers. I still have some sentiment for the Cowboys, but it is attached to Cowboys 1.0, not Cowboys 2.0. If Jerry Jones ever dies or sells the team, I might soften. I was never an Oilers fan because Bud Adams was even a bigger prick than Jones. If Adams had died earlier, I might have gotten on board. At first, I was sort of standoffish about the Texans. Then I decided it was time to get on board. Unless you have a good reason, it's just a lot more fun to support the hometown team. You get to share the highs and the lows (especially the latter in Houston) with the whole community.
In fact, I could have switched to the Rockets over the years for just that reason. However, the truth of the matter is that there is a Lakers community everywhere. I have people pop into the cigar shop just because they know I'm there, and they want to talk about the Lakers. |

They have really done Kaepernick dirty, and I hope he wins his collusion case. |

I am a Buc's fan, and barely remember him. Fwiw, Jon Gruden drafted him....maybe some connection/recommendation to Jay? |
