@LindseyThiry
Sean McVay said Todd Gurley got his ankle rolled on early in last night's game, and that played into why Malcolm Brown played more. McVay said Gurley "Felt okay" as the game progressed.

I'm starting to love our tight ends Higbee and Everett. Also Josh Reynolds is playing great filling in for Kupp.

Colin's take on "the game".

Also, attendance was 77,002; the average is 72,178

Is Kupp through for the season? I think he is. He's a talent that'll be missed. He seems fragile.

Yes. Torn ACL.

I don't know if I'd qualify a concussion and a torn ACL as fragile. That's just football. The kid is tough. In hindsight, he probably shouldn't have come back so early from that MCL sprain he suffered to the knee two weeks prior.

I agree if that MNF game was played at Arrowhead there's a good chance we could have lost but I don't agree the Saints will beat us if we played at the Coliseum and I look forward to proving that in the playoffs. We were right there with them at the Dome just like the Chiefs were right there at the end on Monday night. We're 11-2 on the road in the McVay era losing only to the Saints and the Vikings last season and both of them were among the best teams in the NFL at the time.

It's just a shame we won't get a Saints vs. Chiefs matchup in the regular season. I don't like this ipso facto conclusion that the Saints beat us and we beat the Chiefs so that makes the Saints the best of the three.

I was really down on Higbee his rookie season under Fisher. I thought he had bad hands. He's improved a lot and hasn't had a drop this season. Lost among all of the MNF highlights was a great catch he made from a high bullet from Goff.

It's good we have some bigger targets in Everett and Reynolds (both 6'3") for Goff to throw to. I love Cooks and Kupp in the open field but when we get near the goal line I like having tight ends and taller receivers you can just throw to over coverage.

You probably don't want to know that NFL Network is replaying the game right now (5pm) ... same time as Lakers game.

If the Panthers beat the Seahawks today the Rams will be NFC West champs.

Of course it didn't happen because Seattle continues to enjoy remarkable luck.

The Rams have designated CB Aqib Talib to return from injured reserve and he will return to practice this week

The Chiefs are going to be fine. Ware is not as good as Hunt is, but he will be fine in that role, and KC goes as Mahomes goes. (Which is going pretty well!) It's a downgrade, but if Berry comes back and plays effectively, I will argue that their team is actually better going forward than if they had Hunt and no Berry.

Berry should improve their defense as Talib should improve the Rams, but if the Rams play they again, which would be a real good sign, I'm glad Hunt won't be playing.
