Our bench hasn't looked good since Rondo's injury. Also we haven't put together a complete game since Rondo went down. All those people down on Rondo should notice how much the Lakers are missing him on the court right now.

We definitely miss his leadership.

Yup
Plus Hart, KCP and Lance aren't lead guards.
Great thing is that for the most part Luke is limiting the bench's minutes

While not running LeBron into the ground.
He deserves some credit for this (though it might be a little too much to ask for Laker fans, Lol)

Holy (bleep). He had surgery 11 days ago and is already working on handles with his right hand.

Great news, should be back in 2 weeks if he has good progression.

Rondo even stayed in the game a few minutes after he broke it right?
I love that guy. I always misunderstood him when he was younger.

Rajon Rondo went through the Lakers' non-contact shootaround in Denver. Rondo was cleared to participate in non-contact drills and did some 5-on-0 drills. And Rondo has participated in some of the Lakers' coaches meetings. Luke Walton did the same as a player when he was injured and Phil Jackson invited Walton into coaches meetings. "[Rondo] talks a lot more than I talked though [back then]," Walton said of the similarities between Rondo and himself sitting in on coaches meetings as an injured player.

Luke Walton in the practice presser said they're not emphasising running as much because 1) they're emphasizing defense, and 2) because Rondo's a big part of those fast break plays and he's injured.

Rondo's important to Luke it seems. Multi year contract?

You really don't miss things until they're gone. When Rondo injured his hand I thought the Lakers wouldn't have much problem covering for him. I now see just how much value he adds to the team. Lebron and Rondo are really the only 2 people that can create shots not only for themselves but for the entire team.

Get well soon, Rondo.

They should pull Caruso up and give him some run. If only to keep the dribbling out of Stephenson's hands.

Chandler / ? / Hart / KCP / Caruso

Not to pat my own back, but I knew exactly what Rondo brought to this team and knew his presence would be missed. I've been a big fan of his for a few years now. This guy is a basketball junkie.

Agreed with you - didn't realize he was a basketball junkie until this year, but he's been very obviously a good positive impact on our ball movement and spacing (despite his history of poor shooting) that I knew we'd miss. I thought we'd get a benefit from Lonzo's better D (in comparison to Rondo) but I don't think it's offsetting for the lack of movement offensively.

I have no inside info but my guess is he comes back against the Rockets on Dec 13, or a little before that, he probably wants revenge against CP3.

Luke Walton might sit him out until after that game citing "medical reasons" lol
