Kemba's also a perfect example of how hoggin' (read: increased volume) it can lead to some really crazy scoring outputs. Also a great example of why people identify the prime of an athlete being from 26-30. This isn't some unknown guy blossoming. Kemba has always been very good - he's just increased his volume and has fully entered his prime. For what it's worth, Kemba's rookie year, and certainly his sophomore year, is better than anything any of our young guys have done (except maybe Randle last year). Not comparable to our guys at all

His efficiency has gone up with an increased workload this season, which is what's so impressive.

Age matters. Kemba entered the league at age 21 and turned 22 his rookie season. Ingram and Ball both just turned 21. Moreover, Ball's rookie season was clearly better than Kemba's. Both guys posted terrible TS%, but Lonzo was a much more impactful defender with a positive BPM with less college experience and at a younger age.
