There's no blessing in disguise for Rondo being hurt. We need him back asap.

It was obvious that we missed his presence out there.

Missed his composure and playmaking off the bench big time tonight.

Some were happy to give Zo more minutes. Rondo is the superior player so not sure what they're so happy about. He'll be missed.

1 thing people forget to ever mention is that Lonzo plays good D when he wants to .. but Rondo plays smart D if we had him in this game I’m confident that Rondo would have disrupted some of Augustin’s shots and the passes.

I agree!Rondo is a very solid defender at 6'1. Mainly because of his IQ.With him playing tonight I don't see that 2nd unit blowing that lead at the end of the 1st quarter.

Yeah people like jorge sedano and the rest of the know it all pundits who have no clue what they're talking about, silver lining my a**.

Rondo is the better point guard, thats one area where I'll give Luke props for getting it right. I still think Lonzo should start but in name only, Rondo should be closing games and should be the one leading the team as the point guard along with Lebron.

From calling impromptu players-only film sessions to trash-talking Lonzo Ball in practice, Rajon Rondo is calculated in everything he does and he’s trying to get the best out of the young Lakers like Ball, Kyle Kuzma, Brandon Ingram and Josh Hart

Rajon Rondo serves as coach on floor for 'Baby Lakers'

Finally a good assistant coach on staff.

Asked Luke Walton about Rondo being with the coaches tonight. He said Rajon talked too much, had to tell him if he wanted to stay in the huddles, he had to be quiet 😂
Rondo: “yeah he told me to shut the *** up”

I'd rather Luke tell Mermuys to shut the (bleep) up.

Magic should hire Rondo to the coaching staff after he retires since Rondo says he wants to have a coaching career after basketball.

IMO we should keep Rondo around for at least one more season. We also should hire him as an assistant coach.

I'd rather let Jesse Mermuys talk for a while rather than Luke, actually.

That was a very entertaining game. Finally they put forth a consistent effort for a full game plus James was James.
