I didn't see a thread for this. I searched. If there is one Mods please delete my thread.

I believe there have been 31 lives lost. My prayers go out to those families who lost loved ones.

A new fire broke as I post this.

If Trump liked California he would go in there and Karate Chop the winds and race everyone to safety in his Nikes

I work in Thousand Oaks. Last week was surreal considering everything that happened. Got back from a lunch break around 2pm and the sky was crystal clear. Two hours later Hill and Woolsey broke out and we were covered in smoke. (bleep) bolted

Went back to work today - over the weekend the fire was burning on a hilltop right behind my building. Very very close

A tree fell down right next to my car and scratched it all up pretty badly, still strong winds.

Does your insurance cover the damage to your car?

All I know to say is I hope everyone on LG is protected from these fires. I have to say, the pictures on television continue to shock me. I just have no experience with these type of dangerous fires, and still find myself not understanding how fast they move, and how people get trapped so quickly.

The Lakers are donating $150,000 to the American Red Cross and the Ventura County Community Foundation (VCCF) to support victims of the recent tragedies in Southern California. Fans can also support the efforts by participating in a blood drive with UCLA Health at upcoming Lakers and South Bay Lakers games or make direct donations to the American Red Cross for victims of the fires or make donations to the Ventura County Community Foundation (VCCF) for the Conejo Valley Victims Fund for the Thousand Oaks shooting victims at vccf.org.
