This "he said/she said" type of insurance talk reminded me of an experience from a few years ago. I was rear-ended on the way home from work. No huge deal, just some damage to my bumper. We exchanged insurance info and I told my insurance company what happened. They called back and told me that I might be hearing from the other guy's insurance to give a separate statement for their client. Fine, whatever.
So I get the call and after repeating what happened to the other guy's adjuster, the adjuster says, "the other driver says that you came to an intersection and suddenly stopped at a green light . . ." after a moment of comic disbelief I said, "Did you look at the location of the collision? It's the 405 FREEWAY, there are no intersections with traffic lights." There was a long pause at the other end and then in an embarrassed tone I heard , "OK sir, thank you for your time".
Point being, never underestimate what the other guy may say to try and avoid fault. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know
