Still on a minute restriction and getting legs back. Was part of the death lineup that got a lead in second half. He'll fit.

Either start Ball or trade him. His confidence is shot. Maybe with LeBron bring able to make some layups might Get ball going. But playing with players who can't shoot or do much of any real NBA things is killing his MOJO. (his MOJO was gone last year)

Ball doesn’t look good without shooters around him. Rondo is a much better option at this point.

No matter how much that's stated, people seem to still want him to start? Start 5 mins, come out for 16 mins, then play the closing 5 mins of the half? We really need LG to be coaches.

Starting just means playing with players who might help him look good. Playing with the Lakers scrubs is only hurting him. Even if it's 5 or 6 minutes. Whatever. This team is going nowhere this year.

Come on people dont be ridiculous. Cant judge the guy coming after injury. I am criticizing Ball quite often but in this case its too early to say anything. He need at least 5-6 games to start playing without thinking about the conditioning or his injury. Take it easy

Sounded like he himself is not a scrub. I will give him a pass only because he is on minute restriction and coming off an injury. He need to get his shot falling this season or else we better trade him quick and fast.

Another vintage low motor, invisible game from Lonzo. Sometimes it feels like this kid is on a milk run at Trader Joe's instead of playing in an NBA game.

If someone could put together a gif of Lonzo pushing down Stephenson, I'd give him or her all of my LG points. It happened on defense in the second half.

No one is giving up on them, just disappointed to see games like that after hearing all the reports on our guys working extra hard during off season and the first game they play our young core showed us absolutely nothing to feel excited about. BI is the same old BI, Kuz did not look like himself a year ago and Zo, well, I guess we already have very low expectations for him.

Had to look up what that meant. Thought it was a sexual euphemism at first

This is what I've been saying. I mean, for a lot of younger LA fans... Lonzo is like the next coming of Jesus, but he doesn't play like he wants to take over the league.

Let's just compare two Lakers: Kobe and Lonzo

Kobe left no doubt about what he wanted to do: he wanted to embarrass the other team every single night and make them fear him.

What does Lonzo want to do every night? I have no clue. At least we know with a guy like Kuz he wants to score the ball every time down the floor.

Lonzo looks so uninterested out there as if somebody made him play basketball his whole life without his consent... uhhh ring a bell?

For me Lonzo's potential is all about how much he wants to be a superstar. Nothing he has said or done on or off the court shows that he's ambitious.

Yeah, let's compare Zo to the most obsessive player ever, seems fair...

Lonzo is no star or even really a rotation player. We should start him and when he has an Ave. Game trade him asap for what we can get and move along. No fire heart etc. Let him rap on another team

Can't compare Zo's desire to win to Kobe's. KB was simply on another level. However, Zo's competitiveness compared to other stud PGs? Kid has a lot going for him, but I do see less fire than Lillard, Wall, Kyrie, Kemba and a lot of the other current elites.

I think Lonzo is who he is He doesn't play with emotion and I don't think that is going to change He is almost the complete opposite of Rondo in personality Rondo is extremely vocal plays with a lot of fire
Lonzo is laid back and quiet Lonzo has the skills no doubt to be a top player but I don't know if he has that drive to push it to the next level.
