I admire a man who's accumulate the wealth he has who lived 2 years out of his car. Stevie Wonder gave him a break and he hasn't looked back. Net worth $140 million dollars. _________________ Be who you are and say what you feel because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind.

Fair, but some people use it as a substitute for s***, which many sites censor. I don't mind it in that context. |

92) men who use "female" as a noun replacing woman/girl and "females" for women/girls. It's not just that it makes the offender sound like a knuckledragger, but there's something vaguely derisive about it. Surprised that I haven't personally noticed any pushback to that from women. The same men tend to fish for credit with statements like, "I'd never hit a female." (Silvio Dante accent:) Sir Lancelot ova heuh.... _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL

80) due diligence - the trendiness of it for awhile. It was dormant for a long time and somehow re-entered the lexicon 5-10 yrs ago and I was hearing it a lot. I think it's something people say to sound smart. Diligence is sufficient. _________________ GOAT MAGIC REEL

75) "also, too"
I keep hearing this in my car on sports talk radio, and it's becoming pervasive. Yesterday the ESPN LA afternoon show was on, and I had it on for maybe one segment, and two different hosts (I'm not sure who they were) said "also, too" 4 times. On Dodger Talk on AM 570, David Vassegh uses this phrase a lot. I've heard it on ESPN TV programming from various analysts as well. |

I hate this one, too. Magic Johnson uses it all the time. I even hear it on newscasts. _________________ You are under no obligation to remain the same person you were a year ago, a month ago, or even a day ago. You are here to create yourself, continuously. - Richard Feynman |

And there's also the "Yeah . . . no" thing that is all too prevalent these days. I even caught myself saying it more than once. Which drives me crazy. _________________ You thought God was an architect, now you know

Another relatively new one that's been introduced in the last few years is someone saying "right?" as a part of their remarks. I don't hate this one necessarily, but it's interesting to me anyway. Ramona does this a lot, but she's hardly the only one. |

the way its actually supposed to be used.
Quote: | due diligence
1 law : the care that a reasonable person exercises to avoid harm to other persons or their property failed to exercise due diligence in trying to prevent the accident
2 business : research and analysis of a company or organization done in preparation for a business transaction (such as a corporate merger or purchase of securities) |
But as we know, we flip words and phrases in our own way all of the time and if you do it long enough it becomes the correct way to say it. |
