Yup. I don't see where Toyota is going with this car if it's essentially the hardtop version of the Z4.

I was hoping the new Supra would be more of a Corvette fighter. Oh well, it'll prob be a good car just not my cup of tea

Forget it being a corvette fighter. It will have a shorter wheel base than the previous gen Supra and the new z4.

You really can't go wrong with a Camaro SS 1LE for $50K in this category. Absolute bargain for the performance.

Camaro 1LE is no joke. I’d still go with a Stang though because you can fit wearing a helmet. Big deal if you like to do track days

MK IV Supra is a collectible especially the ones that are unmodified and bone stock. Even with inflation, it is probably more expensive now than when it was new back in the 90's.

When it was new in 93 it had a 48K dollar price tag. Now - completely bone stock low mileage can run for almost 90k

I blame it on the fact that there wasn't a lot of MKIV Supras in the first place (a lot of them have probably been crashed and destroyed or highly modified) plus Fast and Furious making that car even more famous to non-automotive fans.

There's supposed to be 3 levels; like a Taycan, Taycan S, and maybe a Taycan GTS?

But I read it goes base 85k and works its way up.

If Porsche has electric torque transfer to make up for 4-wheel steering, I'd get one as base as possible.

I would definitely get one of these before a Model S me thinks

following the supra pretty closely. Just found out that the suspension will be done by Toyota for the Supra. this is sort of disappointing because i tend to favor BMW's suspension and handling in mostly all of their vehicles

Also the US model will come in auto trans only. WHAT?!? so dirty of Toyota to go that route when they know the B58 is perfectly capable of handling manual trans.

No brainer. I'd go for a bonafide automaker 10/10 times.

Hmm that’s a tough call. I think you can get a model S p100d for the price of the base with dealer markup with incentives

Pretty good look at the car here:

Video says the car should come in around 50k British Pounds which is about $65k US.

It’s a Cayman fighter at that price point. Still reserving judgment, but on name alone I’d rather have a Porsche for the same money

You really trust the dealership network in case anything happens?

You think they will go bankrupt? If worse comes to worse I think Elon will sell the brand to GM or something

This is the first year I actually felt it was a concern.

Other automakers would just lowball them.

The problem is the charging network. TESLA is far ahead of anyone else.
