Hello everyone, been a minute since I posted on here so I’m just curious as to how my fellow laker fans feel about the current state of the team…
Obviously there has been a lot of rumors this summer about Kawhi possibly getting dealt here but probably at the expense of some of our young talent
I believe this season there will be a lot of rumors linking Klay to the lakers… his dad, him being from LA and growing up a laker fan, being a SG who can shoot and excel next to Lebron… the possibility of being the #2 guy with Lebron…
The rumors will pick up, not to mention the warriors will be in a similar situation that OKC found themselves this offseason with the repeater tax bill

Sooo all that said my question is simple…

Would you rather make a trade now for Kawhi or wait until next summer and just ADD Klay to the team without giving up talent?

Kawhi isn’t “Wait for KL in 2019” an option?

Klay has already made it pretty clear he loves the Bay Area. Doubt he will even entertain leaving.

Even if Klay was an option I wouldn’t want him. Have any of you people seen how he plays in the playoffs? Especially the Finals?

Kawhi can carry a team on both sides of the court and be your best player. So this isn’t even a debate.

Klay because he weakens GSW and I think is better fit next to a superstar. He also has injury concerns. Whether he would leave or not is another issue. I will take either if healthy tho.
