Sign DeMarcus Cousins? (Nope. Golden State for 1 yr, $5.3 million. For the love of god. pg 27)

Its just funny to me that gsw has 5 max players in their primes. Lets be real if there was no salary cap and everyone is making what they should GSW's salary would be like 250 million.

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHA I SWEAR THAT I AM LAUGHING ... AND CRYING AT THE SAME TIME !!! THIS IS PATHETIC !!!! Golden State Warriors in level HIPER GOD !!!! This CAN NOT BE DONE in the NBA 2K18 !!! ABSURD!!!! Please change the name to that team !!! West All-Star Warriors !!!

If this is going to be like this from now on, next season (if it starts to start 18-19) the other 29 teams need to transfer all their top stars to a team to compete with them !!!

I propose a new rule !!! if Warriors loses ONE SINGLE GAME, they can't enter the playoffs !!!

That’s the problem. There has to be some sort of rule where parity becomes an obligation for all teams. Or else you lose out when nobody else stands a chance against one super power house. It’s like a dictatorship within the league.

Warriors guaranteeing themselves a championship when the Celtics are a strong contender and we aren't sounds fine to me. At least it is a 1 year get right rental.

Can't wait to see the reaction from the league lol. I don't see us as a contending team this year so I am all good. Grabbing some popcorns and prepare for the noise.

Believe me I don’t want to pump them up. I hate the cheating bastards. But it’s a dictatorship and the NBA has lost all semblance of parity amongst teams.

Great we got Lebron, but we also got HOUSED by the Warriors with Boogie.

Not sure we did not make a clear and definitely move on Boogie and Tyreke instead of McGee, Rondo and KCP.

I think its more on Boogie's choice. He is rehabbing and don't need the pressure to come back on the court to produce. If he is in any other team, fans will be looking forward to have him back ASAP. But with GSW, they are all good with/without Boogie, so Boogie can take all the time in the world to make sure he is 100% healthy before playing, without external pressure from organisation and fans. Plus, its a legitimate chance to win a ring, who wouldnt want to be in that position? Its just none of us saw that coming lol.

The ESPN article states the market dried up for Boogie, surely, the Lakers could have offered the same IF not more than GS did. The question is, did they or did they pass given that cheap was even a talking point and that indicated Boogie might think he is more damaged than he initially let on?

Punting this year and waiting for Kawhi just became a no-brainer.

I'm all for that. Keep BI and Kuz and get our next max player/#2 guy for Lebron next summer.

If we punt this year, we only have room for 1 max guy right next summer right?
Is it better to trade for kawhi this year, and have another near max slot next summer?

scratch that. yea they gain ~9m in 2019 by doing that, they might get close to a 2nd max. But the question is what they'd have to give up for Kawhi.

The Warriors barely even celebrate their title wins at this point. I will forever put an asterisk next to their rings. You can lambast me for that all you want and claim that a championship is a championship. As far as I’m concerned, these guys didn’t earn it, they shortcut their way to it while screwing over 29 other teams in the process. There is no honor in that.

I respect what Joe Jacob and that front office is doing. Some owners only talk about wanting to win every year. He truly tries to do it. Always finding ways to improve.

Now you know why Lebron signed long term with us.

He knew he has no chance at a ring as long as other stars continue to sign for cheap with the Warriors.

Might as well settle somewhere he loves to live.

If this was pre-injury Boogie the Warriors would be the best team of all time. But he's going to be rehabbing for half the year and spend the other half trying to put up stats to show he's back on a team with 4 other guys that want to score. Boogie also tends to pout when he doesn't get his touches and could make them worse defensively.

They earned it. All they're doing is taking advantage of the situation presented to them. They have been extremely fortunate to
1.) Sign Curry to an under market contract.
2.) Sign Durant during a once in a blue moon jump in the salary cap.
3.) Acquire an All-Star in Cousins when there was no market for a guy coming off a serious injury.
Can't fault them for taking advantage while the getting is good. If anything, it's the NBA that screwed themselves when they locked out the players and organizations whined and complained about the Lakers because of "parity" when it was really the Warriors over there that were the real threat.

Warriors starting 5 is better than Eastern Conference All Star starting lineup.

They got Boogie for $5.3 million.

We got KCP for $12 million a year and Rondo for $9 million a year.

We paid retail.

If Boogie even comes close to the player he was before the injury this is beyond scary GS will break their 73 wins record

Per minute played Boogie will make 3x -Infinityx what KCP makes.

Now, I hope those guys claiming signing Boogie for one is worthless prove correct.
