I dont hate lonzo actually like him. But he has no leadership skills, no fire, he will never live up to the hype.

This is Lonzo's ceiling and I've already accepted it. But, it would've been nice to have a scoring PG.

Like De'Aaron Fox? One of the worst players in the league.

Like Goran Dragic.

Didn't know Dragic was a rookie. Let's check Dragic's numbers as a 22 year old rookie.

48.7 TS%. -2.1 OPM. -1.2 DPM.

Real solid.

It would have been fun having LG when Kobe was a rookie.

LOL the Utah playoff game would have blown up the board.

That was one game.

LOL....Yes, technically that one Utah playoff game was just one game. Fact is, Kobe's up and down rookie season would have been dissected just as harshly by some. The point being. We don't know how this will end up but the certainty of the haters is absurd.

Luke Walton says Miami "was tougher than us tonight. That's really frustrating." Walton said he wanted to go to Julius Randle on last play but Lonzo Ball's man went to help on Randle. Walton said he can live with an open shot by Isaiah Thomas at the end.

Kyle Kuzma's go-ahead 3 gives him 132 on the season — most 3-pointers by any rookie in franchise history.

Frustrating that Lonzo garners such little respect that the Heat ignore him. As a rookie, I can live with that.

I would say that it's more frustrating watching him go 4 for 15, really 14, while the defense is ignoring him.

so, no retaliatory knee to Winslow’s jewels? You had one job JR. Next time sweep the leg, and curb stomp the manberries. (bleep).

4 game losing streak coming up. Maybe 5 since we haven't exactly played well against Memphis this season.

If Memphis wins that game and snap what could be possibly be a 23-game losing streak, yikes.

I skimmed thru the last 3 quarters at 3-4x speed after watching the 1st Q and then going to bed. Saw last 3 quarters in maybe 3 minutes -- the score at least -- and I deleted it after my hypothesis was proven. I knew that was an inevitable L, no matter how many Heatles were ill. Lakers can still stoop low enough to lose to any of the league's dreck. First few minutes had the standard groggy, lax, sloppy earmarks before the first commercial break. They made me drowsy enough watching them to wanna hit the sack at 8. Hope they don't feel like malingering BI for the rest of the season. I wonder if he'll magically reappear at 110% on the road trip. Maybe if the team was as mad at Winslow's late knee to BI as they were at Murray for simply dribbling around Zo...

We know they will be up for it...just by reading “Lakers” on the schedule. That will be their no tank, A effort game.

Tough loss. I think the difference was they had an all star closer in Dragic and we didn't. Also I think Walton was out coached by Spoelstra. Still proud of the guys for battling to the end.

The difference was having a gaping hole in the middle of our lineup without a single healthy wing player. A roster left so ridiculously imbalanced that it's a miracle they're in any game, and a huge load for Randle to carry, particularly when all 3 NBA level guards on our team go cold at the same time.

Silver lining is we get BI back soon. Kuz's ankle will improve, Frye can add depth at 4 someday soon if he isn't abducted by aliens, and we might possibly get Hart back for the last week or two.

Nuggets took care of that problem.
