Larry could have made dozens of shots... but like a good looking guy who's too paralyzed by fear to walk up and ask for someone's number... the only thing worse than a poor shooter, is someone who won't shoot at all.

I loved LNJ's play but we waited three years for him to get the nerve to shoot... he just wouldn't do it.

So you don't hate him but you've given up on him at 20 years old in less than 50 games.

If he hits 2-3 more of his open floaters/layups and minus his heave, he is 7/14. Not as bad.

I have not given up at him at all. He will be a decent starting pg, but nothing special. Better version of rondo.

Damn Lonzo...

I know everyone sucked, including Luke Walton's brain fart at the end, but I put this one on Lonzo not knowing how to seize greatness, seize the moment.

When it was 91-90 with the lead and him with the ball. I wanted him to do one of those shots he did in San Antonio. Rock his guy to sleep and just ice it with a three, but he gave it to Randle.

Then after Dragic scored. He's supposed to run to the ball, but he runs down the court first and motions for his big men to take the ball up. You don't want Kuzma taking the ball up the court with pressure. As a point guard, you should know that's dicey. As someone who wants to be great, you should have ran to the ball.

Even Lonzo knows he's not confident in his shot right now. And if he penetrates, he can't finish and if he gets fouled he's struggling at the line big time.

What killed us was Lonzo couldn't keep Dragic in check.

Lonzo is a really good rapper. Maybe he should work on his basketball skills?

It would have been fun having LG when Kobe was a rookie.

Kuzma needa to be more inovled in the offense 10 shots isnt enough for him and his skill set. He should shoot 15 times a game and ball 5 max.

He's not going to improve that this year. Do you guys understand that? That is what the off-season is for.

If he comes back next year with no offensive improvement, then start worrying. He does not have an NBA body and has basic technique issues. Just like Ingram.

This is Lonzo's ceiling and I've already accepted it. But, it would've been nice to have a scoring PG.

So his ceiling has been reached 47 games into his career? That is absurd. But of course you are aware of that.

Exactly.....so why is he jacking up shots. Kuzma or whoever. Lonzo needs a year or 3 to get his game in gear

Like De'Aaron Fox? One of the worst players in the league.

That fact the Zo continues to try last second quarter ending heaves says much more about what type of player he is than his low rookie shooting % does.

Which shots is he jacking?

The open layup?

The open floater?

The heave?

He's not taking bad shots.

Actually his ceiling was already evident at Chino Hills and at UCLA.
