just one of them nights where our boys weren't feeling it. Good thing about the game was that Chris Paul was amazin. Good stuff to watch.

If you are a Laker fan, why is that good stuff to watch? Go home.

The 7 turnovers kind of stands out. Some of them, he just didn't have his head in the game, either.

Before this game, commentators were saying that the Lakers probably had the best team, at that point, in the NBA...

Against the Hornets, we looked like we had flushed everything into the toilet... Everything we had, supposedly learned... We forgot how to play together, with composure, and confidence.

We looked like a group of naive pic-nic'ers, who ran into a Hornet's Nest... We got stung bad. They kept coming back at us, when we wanted to sit back, and gloat.

I don't know if the Lakers played as bad as everyone thinks.

Reality is the Lakers have slow perimeter defenders and the Hornets have quick perimeter players.

I am not sure it is any more complicated than that, other than Smush bricking FTs at the rate of a 63% FT average for the season, brutal.

That's the problem with Lamar. His head isn't always in the game. Second straight year he makes boneheaded mistakes. Last year he cost the Lakers a win in Sacramento driving to the basket and getting an offensive foul instead of running out the clock. Now the last game he starts dribbling the ball coming out of bounds like a (bleep). Despite his talent, he just does not have the brains to be an elite player. Inexcusable the number of mistakes he made in that game. And not just him, the entire team from the coaching staff down were pitiful.

The reality is this team is not close to being a championship team if our post presence is Kwame. He just cannot score on guys that is longer than him.

The reason we would not be a contender has nothing to do with Kwame inside, but with our inexperience. And he can score on bigger or big guys, hell, he was 4-8. 50% is good enough shooting for a big guy.

Almost all of Kwame's shots came from draw and kicks. He was left wide open for easy dunks. His only made shot other than those were when he got fouled and managed to hit while falling away. When he was put into the post and allowed to create he was ugly.
