I was dreading how JC might play this game. I'm used to seeing Clarkson respond to a hot game by stopping the flow and pushing iso ball to an extreme. Not so tonight - great flow, great passes, way to carry a team that's down JC!! He scored AND he kept people involved this time. THIS is the kinda JC I was hoping he'd be. Can he please keep playing this way? |

JC needs to start....While Lonzo is out for the time being. Caruso is doing better than Ennis too. Really active on defense. |
Don't forget 15 assists. I like Clarkson from the bench. |

That's my feeling as well. I wonder why teams so willingly let Clarkson and Randle do what everyone knows they're going to do but I guess it just shows I watch this team every game and the other teams see them two to four times a year.
If Clarkson and Randle are on the floor together, I'd always send a hard double at whoever has the ball and then play the passing lane to the other one. They always look for each other, especially when they're under pressure. |

I just wish I could say the same about going back to work and not getting Laker grief in Portland... |

the Clarkson and Randle hate is real!
for some, when they play well, it's because the other team "let" them play well....the same stupid (bleep) from the same fragile LG members never gets old |

For him to keep playing this well, he has to be hot from the field every game. Typically when his shot stops falling, he presses and tries to shoot his way out of his slump and all of the bad habits show themselves. |

Wins just feel good. Feel like some of these cats are finding their roles on the team and putting individual crap aside. They had 6 TOs today! Crazy |

Not sure if that was directed at me but I thought Clarkson and Randle played well against a defense that was trying to stop them. I don't think the Knicks were just letting them score. Just think that the defensive strategies show an obvious lack of scouting since their games seem pretty predictable.
In the question of whether or not to keep them, I am thinking more about how I think they'd perform in playoff series where the same team sees them 7 times and is game planning for them. |

Yeah I posted that wishing that JC could see the value in playing this way, but it does feel like asking a leopard to change it's spots. JC's not going to be searing hot every night. If he were to move the ball every game and the offense hums like it did today I'd be real happy with him. It's clear Clarkson is capable of it. I just wish the ghosts of titles past, present and future would come visit him some night and convince him to keep the offense flowing this way every game. |

In a series, they would be able to trick Randle into getting TWO offensive charges per game, instead of his requisite one per contest. |

Doesn't really matter who starts as long as it's not Ennis. Just need to get JC and Randle 30+ minutes. |

Especially since there's 0% chance Ennis is back with the Lakers next year _________________ Author of James Harden and the Strip Club

Awesome game, I like Kuz, Randle & Clarkson coming in off the bench.
Start Larry and Caruso...
And bring in Bryant when we need a 3 (lol)...! _________________ “Always remember... Rumors are carried by haters, spread by fools, and accepted by idiots.” |

Not this again. I remember a lot of people saying this about Lou before he was traded. Let's trade away our best players for some college kids and sign some vets who are garbage. Awesome way to rebuild a team. |
