Despite shooting 37% for the game, the Lakers did hit 8-20 from 3-point range (40%). And although 67% from the line is bad, anytime you make 31 free throws it is a good thing.
Combine those with better ball handling and improved defense, and the Lakers get the win. Reliance on Kobe was heavy tonight; 20 in the first and 40 for the game.
