Not that many people have talked about him.. But if he is available at the 26th pick, He'd be a steal. Deadly outside shot, lengthy guard at 6'3 that can play the 1 and 2.. And plays good defense.. Very underated player from West Virginia..

I almost asked, "Is that a good stroke or a bad stroke?" Then I quickly realized, there is no such thing as a good stroke.

At 51 he would be a major steal because he can contribute to our team this year. I'd love to have him.

I'm from West Virgina and I love the guy. He has just as much heart as anyone in the draft. This guy will be a steal.

I love Gansey.

I'd have no problem with him in da p-n-g.

He plays hard, he's smart, he's active and he makes an impact on the game.

Gansey as an undrafted free agent - now that's a nice possibility.

Other big names to go undrafted: Pittsnogle (a bit of a surprise), Gerry McNamara (not surprising)

Perhaps NBA people felt he is not athletic enough to warrant a selection... however, he should at least get an invite from someone. I think he is a deceptive athlete, he is lanky at 6'4 and has some quickness. Of course, his shot and bball IQ is what will help him find a home somewhere.

We should sign Gansey right now.

He will be a better NBA player than Vujacic, guaranteed.

Did you watch the 2nd half of the 2nd round? It was just a run on a bunch of Euros that teams can stash overseas for a couple years and will probably never even sniff the NBA. It was a disgrace.

God forbid they draft a player who has a chance to actually contribute.

Agreed.

I'll admit I didn't see him as a 1st-round talent as some did, but I thought
he deserved to go at least early 2nd-round.

Was hoping for him at our #51, but would rather have Evans given that
he's a proven commodity who can fill our hole at backup two-guard, and
is defensively minded.

That said?

Heck yeah I'd like to sign Gansey to some kinda unguaranteed contract,
stick him in the SPL, see how he does.

Do it Mitch!!!
