Shouldn't Jalen Rose be 04-05, Marshall be 02-03?

No Jalen Rose is correct at 00-01, and the Marshall error has already been discussed.

I mentioned this earlier, but you cannot pick McGee's 5th best season. That's a precedent that hasn't been breached, nor should it, imo.

I was told it was all right to use McGee's 5th year by Pete. Either way, whatever you guys decide please let me know so I can make the necessary changes.

I did say that I was fine with using players' 5th best season earlier on in the process when the split season issue first came up, so when 4ml asked me I said it was fine. However, I want to come to an equitable solution on this, especially considering that McGee was one of Mystic's players.

Frankly, the whole "4th best season" thing was intended to be something where the simmer could just go and draft the 4th best season without thought, and this has become more of an issue than I ever envisioned it being.

Amp...speak your peace and we'll come to a fair outcome. I certainly didn't mean to job you out of McGee or mislead you.

My issue with McGee is that he does not have a split season as his fourth best season (which is where the other exceptions have been made). I think using a guy's fifth best season, when his fourth isn't a split, opens the door for more issues and work. Early on you and I discussed if team managers could pick any player's season 4th best or worse, and it seemed most reasonable to just stick with the 4th. Obviously, we didn't know the split season issue early on.

Personally, my team would look quite a bit different during the draft had we been able to choose any season lower salaried than their fourth best. I think it's a fine idea, but maybe too late to set the precedent. That being said, I have no issue with making an exception with McGee since 4ML is under the impression that it's okay to use that season.

I've no problem with replacing McGee. I completely get where you're coming from.

If I can chime in on the rules, IMHO, the fair way to deal with guys who were drafted but have a split in season 4, their 3rd season should be allowed. It should be only allowed if they play on the same team that they were originally drafted for. It shouldn't be allowed for FA pickups.
