The Phoenix Fury (3-0) continue their torrid start with a 102-75 beatdown of the Seattle Kings of Sacramento (0-2). David Robinson put in the most dominant performance of the season to date, tallying 25 points, 12 rebounds, and 9 blocked shots. Shaq struggled for the Kings, going just 5/17 from the field.

The Portland Pale Alers (3-0) score a convincing win over the visiting San Diego Clippers (2-1) behind Karl Malone's 36 points, setting a league-wide high for this young season. San Diego was led by Paul Pierce's 23 points, but the Clips struggled from the field, shooting a season-low 38.1%.

The Chicago Bull-Crap (2-1) go into LA and knock off the Lakers (0-2) in a low scoring affair, 93-77. Larry Bird led the Bull-Crap with 17 points, 7 boards, & 6 assists. George Mikan had 9 points and 12 rebounds in only 12 minutes for the Lakers, who shot just 37.8% from the field.

Horace Grant knocked down a jumper as time expired to give Boston Strong (2-1) the home victory over Cleveland Rocks (3-1), 102-101. Billy Cunningham missed two free throws with 17 seconds left to leave the window open for the Strong. Boston was led by Kobe Bryant's 36 point outing, while Allen Iverson led the Rocks with 25.

Detroit cruises at home, defeating the Manhattan Alpacas 118-104. Six players scored in double figures for the Gems, while crisp passing led to 32 assists. Kevin Durant was feeling it for the Alpacas, draining 5 threes in the losing effort, but had 6 of the team's 19 turnovers. With 11 points, 10 boards and 7 assists and 3 steals, Magic Johnson was named Player of the Game.

Kevin Durant nailed a 3 pointer as time expired to give the Manhattan Alpacas a 1 point victory on the road against the Brooklyn Black Chocolate Stouts. Durant capped a 25 point 9 rebound night with 5 points in the final 9 seconds to lead his team to victory. Michael Jordan had a chance to extend the lead to 3 points with 5 seconds to go but made only 1 of 2 FTs. Jordan led the BBCs with 23 points, 5 board, 6 dimes, and 3 steals.

Marques Johnson led the way for St. Louis with 23 points and 9 boards, but the story of the game was New Orleans being held to 37.2% from the field and being forced into 19 turnovers. Elgin Baylor had 25 points and 11 rebounds for the Brass, who only had one other player in double figures.

The visiting Gems couldn't buy a bucket, shooting a miserable 31.5% from the field, including a 1 for 8 performance beyond the arc. Wilt put his stamp on the game for the Blues, leading the way with 22 points, 20 rebounds and 5 blocks. His performance earns him Player of the Game honors.

The Rocks took an 8 point lead into the 2nd quarter before the Burrs caught fire, outscoring their opponents 89-65 the rest of the way, shooting an impressive 58.5% from the field for the game. Chris Paul and Steph Curry combined for 22 of the Burrs 38 assists, while Time Duncan scored 20 points, snagged 9 boards and assisted on 5 plays himself in taking Player of the Game honors. Allen Iverson scored 24 points in the losing effort.
