Ive seen a lotta people saying that they play ball and all, but how many here actually make part of a team?
Well, I dont know if theres such thing in the U.S, but here in Brazil, pro teams have something called "base category", that they pick young players (age 16-19) to play the juvenile state championship, and if after you reach pro age youre good enough the team offers you a contract, I play in one of those teams and thats why I call myself a serious baller, what about you? _________________ www.lakersbrasil.com

I think I could have been if I had kept in shape during my younger years. I believe I was way too quick for people to defend, and I could also shoot from anywhere on the court. |

I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good once as I ever was. But nuff with Tobe, I still dominate the playground with mad defense and relentless attack to the rim. Never had much of an outside shot though, I hit them in rhythm. Imagine a dead man's Bonzi Wells or Ruben Patterson - that's how I play. |

No. I tutor/coach them. 3 friends play in leagues. All of them among the leader scorers for the league.
I now have a coworker who plays in the Summer Pro League agent team. Pretty darn good himself. _________________ Resident Car Nut.

serious is matter of opinion, but I have played in a Thurs night game for the last 6 years after I graduated High school. Not as good as I was in HS, but I can still hit a bunch of 3's. |

I'm not the player I use to be, and I don't know how to go about speaking about my game without it sounding like bragging. So I will just say that when I was at my best, I have held my own against anyone playing the game, and now I will not hurt any team I'm on, only positives. _________________ "Kobe Bryant is an absolute nightmare. I played for some of my colleges winter and Spring leagues...
I tore all the ligaments in my right foot last summer and it put me out for 4 months. When I went through therapy, I started playing again - at 100% - and I believe I broke a rib. After that, I've decided to play for some other leagues with some friends on Sunday night. _________________ LD2k's Twitter
