I'm looking at getting the HTC Inspire. Thought I'd get the advice of all the tech heads on LG. What is your top five (or top ten if you really know your stuff) smart phones?
Of course pros and cons and reviews are all welcome. what makes them great, or suck like world peace's pre season? |

The best apple phone is the iPhone 4S.
The best Android phone is the Galaxy Nexus. It's the new flagship Android phone.

Frankly I'm not all that thrilled with the call quality on my GN, and I've found a number of places where it can't establish a data connection, where my previous Droid II could. Other than that it's a really nice phone. One advantage iOS had over Android was a much cleaner UI -- things just fit together better and worked better than Android. Ice Cream Sandwich closes that gap, and there's now no reason to favor the iPhone because of this factor alone. Android remains more configurable (although not as much as I would like without rooting), and the GN eliminates almost all of the manufacturer-specific lay-overs (like Moto Blur) and bloatware (like VZ navigator). The only non-ICS app on the phone was the Verizon account management app, which I use anyway.
And I never want to go back to a smaller screen, although this is partly due to my crappy eyes. |

Galaxy Nexus is a nice phone but the battery life is terrible. |

Your not the only one saying that.
I work in finance. RIMM has been my PALM for quite a few months now. |
