was the starter ahead of brandon jennings on jenning's euroleague team
seems like quick, little, athletic pg that a lot of LGers have been asking for.
only problems i can see are that his outside shooting isn't that good and he plays for the bulgarian national team so he might be away during offseasons rather than training with us. |

Yep, he's UPenn. Was an Ivy POY too.
Hustle player, tenacious on both offense and defense. Long-limbed, always on the hunt for steals. Shakey outside shot, which dooms him as he doesn't have an NBA body or the lightning quicks to compensate. He can handle the ball but not the vision and passing ability to be a pure PG.
No, he won't stick. _________________ We are stardust

He did great for Bulgaria, but i don't think he is ever goin to play for us,cause you can't have more than 1 non-bulgarian....But he is quick and has an outside shot ! Good player, but maybe not for the Lakers.... _________________ "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."

Did you follow him in Europe? He was a rather poor shooter, most of his points were earned by penetration. He's quick by Ivy standards, but by NBA standards... his first step isn't enough to compensate for defenders playing the shot. _________________ We are stardust

I did he didn't really shoot that much from the outside, but when he did he was OK,not great and thats in the Euroleague...But i think he can be really nice of the bench,if he come really cheap... _________________ "Our greatest glory is not in never falling, but in rising every time we fall."

yeah i would like to see him make it, looks like he can be a player who comes in off the bench and gets some exciting dunks in the game ala shannon brown. |

I like what I've seen from him in this game. Good decision-making. Good speed on defense. Not a bad guy to bring off the bench. _________________ I Recommend VLC Player: http://www.videolan.org/ |

11 assists can't be frowned upon... the 2-8 shooting needs to improve. I like Ivy League players as they're usually smarter and quicker to pick up offenses than kids that who spend one year in the NCAA before jumping to the NBA. _________________ MTFBWYA |

^Jaaber knows that the Lakers are looking for PG's who can make decisions. Hence why Farmar is gone and Shannon hasn't been resigned yet. _________________ I Recommend VLC Player: http://www.videolan.org/ |

His playmaking has improved since his days at Penn, based on this game. He did dribble into trouble a few times, and his shooting still looks bad.

^His shooting won't be too bad with Bynum, Pau, LO, and Kobe drawing doubles. _________________ I Recommend VLC Player: http://www.videolan.org/ |

He may get a training camp invite. I think a lot of players (maybe 3-4 will get invites given Lakers' desire to keep payroll down).
If he plays within himself, runs the system and plays defense, he may have a shot somewhere in the NBA. _________________ From 2-10 to the Western Conference Finals |

^ His decision-making awful. On top of that, his D isn't that much better than Jaaber's. _________________ I Recommend VLC Player: http://www.videolan.org/ |

but jaaber is 6'2" compared to strawberry's 6'5", i like strawberry more as long as he doesn't jack up shots all the time and play within the offense _________________ "...Rondo's looking... gets it to Pierce. I think this guy is terrible. He makes the worst decisions with the ball. Awful point guard |

Jaaber is done with the Lakers summer league.
He signed a 2 year 1.3 million euro deal in Italy.

that's a really good deal and predictable for Jaaber. This is from ESPN-LA _________________ MTFBWYA |
