a bootleg horry

That's good, I'm going to use that again. Of course, bootleg whisky is cheap and not as good; LO is more expensive and not as good.

Yeah, I agree, the Nuggets are probably best off staying in the paint when LO does his jumper thing, until he just kills them with it.

Off course Lo is best in the paint. Anyone with a post game is best in the paint. Kobe included. LO needs his outside shot to make his slashing more effective like anybody else. IMO he has to take jumpers to show defenders he'll take it and make it. However, more than 3 from the arc is too much... unless he's on fire.

whoa, LO is expensive and he earns every single dime of his paycheck. he's playing after BATTIER ran underneath him and caused him to fall on his back. LO is still giving em the business.

During the game on Sunday, ABC at one point turned the cameras on to Kareem. Obviously Kareem didn't know that the camera was on him and while sitting there, a hot body passes by. The Captain sat there for awhile soaking up the eye-candy!

Did anyone else notice this?

LOL. At least he didn't get caught picking a winner again like last season.

I can't believe there isn't a thread about this, but why was Kobe reinserted into the line up in the 4th quarter with the Lakers up by 20+ points?

there was still a lot of time left, and the way this team has blown leads, i think phil was just being cautious that houston didn't make one last run. kobe was taken out the next timeout when it seemed like it was over.

I figured Phil Jackson wanted to make sure that the game didn't end sloppily.

I think there was only 5 minutes left in the game when he went in. Blowing a 20+ lead (I know it was up around 30 at one point) without any indication of the Lakers doing so seems like a reach.

My theory was that Phil was allowing him to get in the game so that when he got pulled, he could get an ovation from the crowd for the series. Afterall, like kobeyashi said, Kobe was only on the floor for a minute or two.

Because Philip is playing mind games on Denver, showing that even up 30, he will put Kobe back in to do nothing and then be taken out 2 min later.

You think this was not possible? What Lakers team have you been watching?

I was watching Sunday's game. There was zero indication that the Lakers were going to blow a 29 point lead with 5 minutes left in the game.
