Have to disagree with Fat Joe... Fat Joe was nice back in the day... his first two albums were raw, but good... if you are referring to anything he dropped after 2000, I would agree...

Common's last album comes to mind... I was really disappointed... I think there are 2 okay songs on it... maybe 3 tops... and I'm a big Common fan.

Yeah. I didn't even bother buying Common's last album. Electric Circus I could take but the last one just seem uninspired.

I honestly liked his 1st single. He tried to be different. I do agree his album was very subpar. Im not a huge common fan to begin with but his live performances are off the hook.

As much as I love Common, I have to agree with you. He has gotten soft, way soft. I want some of those old Common tracks like "B**ch in you".

i understand your point, but rappers get older and their content gets more mature. sometimes that effects how good their product is, but not in Common's case... he brings that raw.. especially on "Be". i didn't cop his last joint but i know kanye didn't produce it like ke did "be". watch, his next album will be another classic

i love the c to the o double m-o-n but he's become a conservative conscious mc rather than his harder-edged, straight to the gut messages like "a song for assata", "6th sense", "g.o.d."., "hungry", "making a name for ourselves", etc... i understand he's matured over the years but he shouldnt forget what style made him a legend... he's imaging himself towards a broader audience instead of just sticking purely to the craft that gained him notoriety

You guys know Eddie Murphy had an album right? And Bruce Willis. And Don Johnson.

Or what about Garth Brooks alter ego Chris Gaines?

Kevin Federline has an album.

And who can forget Hammer's The Funky Headhunter.
