I'm a fan of Chuck Liddell and thought he would beat Rashad Evans tonight but Rashad landed the perfect punch, right on the button! Nobody would get up after that! Hopefully Chuck can come back from this loss, although age is playing a factor.

Given this result tonight and his record I think Rashad should get a title shot against Forrest Griffin.

Here's the entire fight....

http://www.mmaroot.com/chuck-iceman-liddell-vs-rashad-evans-ufc-88-video/

Chuck might want to call it a career after this horrific showing....

He looked slow and sluggish as hell , and Rashad landed a PERFECT right hand!!!

Chuck is a terrible boxer, period. It's ok to be a mediocre boxer in MMA as long as you have some other weapons such as good transitions to take down, good clinch, dirty boxing, etc. etc. but Chuck has none of these weapons. All he is is a counter puncher. He left himself wide, wide open against both Evans and Rampage. Guys like Liddell make MMA fighters look terrible.

Holy damn...
plus, Ken Flo V. Joe Stevenson!
and there are rumors of a Gonzaga card and a Amir Sadollah card too!

This is gonna blow out Liddell Vs. Ortiz!

He does have bad boxing mechanics (magnified in his fights against Evans and Rampage), but over his career, he knocked fools out left and right. And they were good fighters (Ortiz, Couture, Babalu, Mezger, Overeem, Horn, etc.). I don't care that those guys were predominantly grapplers, he beat them and he beat them good. He's one of the greatest MMA fighters of all-time, and if you think otherwise, you are just hating.

Hands down, Chuck Liddell is the greatest light heavyweight in the sport's history thus far.
