My Morning Jacket broke through YEARS ago. And i know a lot of people who would find Against Me! winning an award for best punk band patently offensive.

I just saw Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band and it was amazing.

And how is My Morning Jacket still "break through"? They've been around for a bit now. Pretty good band.

Music critics love Conor Oberst don't they? He's always being mentioned as the next great singer-songwriter. I like some of Bright Eye's stuff, but after a bit he seems to get whiney.
