Totally forgot about that. It turned out much better than the original. It was also Johnny's last single.

When it comes to covers of "Redemption Song", it doesn't get better than Joe Strummer and Johnny Cash. |
I love that version too, because I'm a fan of both guys, but I think Cornell's was better.
BTW, I love Redemption Song. I've been trying to get all the versions around. I got 10 so far. They include: Chris Cornell, Johnny Cash and Joe Strummer, Joe Strummer alone, U2, Ben Harper, Pearl Jam, No Use for a Name, Reaçao em Cadeia, and others. |
So now you have the Wyclef Jean version of "Redemption Song." What do you think? |
Pretty good. I like it how he changes the lyrics a lil bit so it can fit the moment better.
Wyclef made a really nice version, one of the top3 I think.
Thanks again for that. _________________ www.lakersbrasil.com

good list. I'm also adding, Sheryl Crow, "D'yer Maker" to the worst list. _________________ "I define success by championships, by winning..." Kobe Bryant

I forgot B*****s ain't S**t by Ben Folds... freakin' incredible. I saw him perform it at the John Mayer concert a few months back. The whole crowd was singing... hilarious. _________________ MTFBWYA |
